July 2 2010: On 30th June 2010 during first meeting of the new board of directors in Ariston Norway AS, a new managing director was appointed. Mr Rune Pettersen (49) was former, founder and Managing Director of Unitech Ship Service AS in Norway. With almost 20 years of successful operations and management, Mr Pettersen has extensive contacts and references with almost all European shipowners, and that will also bring strength to the sales team. On the same date, the previous managing director Mr Asle Straume was relieved. The company thanks Mr Straume for the years of hard work for Ariston Norway AS, and wish him good luck in his new business ventures.

February 1, 2008: Ariston Korea is registered in Korea and will handle sales, commissioning and service as well as supporting the customers with commercial and technical help for the SURVEYOR™ product in South Korea.
November 20, 2007: Ariston Norway and BESI Marine Systems has agreed to cooperate to build a stronger alliance to support our customers. Incorporating BESI's products; power pack, actuators and valves, into the SURVEYOR product range allows Ariston Norway to deliver a full package of tank monitoring and control systems.
October 1, 2007: Ariston Norway is pleased to announce that Paal Nilsen is taking the position as manager for the Customer Support department. He will be responsible for engineering, production and after sales support. Paal is B.Sc from Horten University College and came from a position as Key Account Manager.
August 30 2004: The board of Ariston Norway is pleased to announce that Asle Straume is assuming the position as Managing Director of the company as from 1 September 2004. Asle Straume is B.Sc from Telemark University College and he was one of the founders of the company in 1996. He has vast experience in the field of maritime monitoring and control and until his new appointment he has held the position as technical manager. The board is delighted to have Asle Straume at the helm of Ariston Norway, leading our highly competent team in our continued efforts to become an ever more valuable partner to our customers.
June 28 2004: Tanksystem Norway AS has been renamed from the 1st. of July 2004 to Ariston Norway AS. The new company name is to denote our commitment to excellence and to re-confirm the position of Ariston Norway as a modern, technologically advanced, competitive, and strong company that is part of Mustad Group and that is looking forward to the future with courage and confidence. Developing and manufacturing of technologically advanced automatic systems for level gauging and multipurpose control remains our core activity.
